1. Uninstall or delete all previous versions of the ERJgrab panel, but save the documentation, which is unchanged. Also, there is no new tutorial flight provided with this upgrade, so you might want to save it also.
2. After unzipping ERJgrab4.zip, cut and paste the folder "Flight Simulator 9" that was created by the unzipping into the location of your FS2004/FS9 main directory, which is by default "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9". All the appropriate files will be located appropriately. You may want to examine the contents of the "Flight Simulator 9" folder beforehand to get an idea of how things are different from previous versions.
3. In the "Panel" folder of the aircraft with which you want to use the ERJ panel, edit the panel.cfg file to read...

4. Make sure you have the latest version of Peter Dowson's fsuipc.dll installed.
1. Fixed the missing flightplan on the HSI.
2. Fixed the missing engine and cabin pressure numbers on the EICAS.
3. Fixed slow or missing numbers and annunciations on PFD.
4. Fixed the blacked out areas in the nightlighted panel.
5. Added a tens or fast increment to HDG and CRS knobs by pressing the right mouse button over the plus and minus mouse zones.
6. Changed the Takeoff Page on the HSI to reflect when the main exit door is open or closed.
NOTE: The open door warning on the EICAS is only illuminated and the MASTER WARNING only flashes when the left engine is running.
7. Pushback is now active after clicking the mouse zone over the "PUSHBACK" knob on the left of the glareshield panel.
8. Accreditation for use of this panel with FSUIPC.DLL has been activated. This means that all the features of FSUIPC can be accessed even if the freeware FSUIPC above 3.4 is being used. If this doesn't work, the registration information for FSUIPC is
9. The fuel quantity and used values are now congruent.
10. Support for FS9's Garmin GPS gauge is provided by using the SHIFT 7 key combination. Data or flightplan entry into the GPS will be reflected on the ERJ HSI flightmap display.
11. When DME2 is selected by pushing the small button labeled DME on the Radio Control Unit, not only will the DME2 distance be displayed on the PFD and HSI and designated with an amber 'H', but the GSPD will now reflect DME2.
12. The nameplate on the glareshield can now display "LEGACY" along with "ERJ-145", "ERJ-140", and "ERJ-135", by clicking on the nameplate.
If you want to use the ERJ Panel with the FeelThere ERJ-145, there are a few things that you need to add to the Aircraft.cfg file.
